<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Columbia City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. to discuss a mask mandate. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. <br /><br />Council will first hear public comments before voting on a mask mandate. Comments can also be submitted to CityClerk@CoMo.gov by 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 9.<br /><br />A six-sevenths vote will be required to approve a mask mandate and pass an ordinance as an emergency measure. <br /><br />The agenda for the meeting can be found on <a href="https://gocolumbiamo.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx">CoMo.gov</a>.<br /><br />The meeting will be broadcast live on the City Channel, which can be viewed on Mediacom 80, Charter Spectrum 992 and CenturyLink 96. It will also be live streamed at <a href="http://gocolumbiamo.granicus.com/player/event/2814?publish_id=d9e3fc3e-efe6-4c95-8fa6-b3dd61a1ecdb&redirect
