<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police respond to barricaded subject in the 10 block of Bright Star Dr., Aug. 10</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police arrested Drake Adam Stockton-Kenney, 29, of Columbia, Mo., for kidnapping, first degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, resisting arrest and unlawful use of a weapon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Tuesday, Aug. 10, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Columbia Police were dispatched to a domestic assault at a residence in the 10 block of Bright Star Dr. Officers made contact with the victim and observed several injuries. The victim reported the suspect had assaulted her while holding her against her will. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers were able to determine that the suspect was inside the residence and attempted to contact him by phone and the patrol vehicle’s PA system, but were unsuccessful. Due to the nature of the incident, the Department’s SWAT Team and Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT) were requested. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The SWAT team established a perimeter while a CNT negotiator made contact with Stockton-Kenney. After a period of negotiations, he surrendered without further incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
