<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning the next Family Fun Fest, which will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 18 at Albert-Oakland Park, 1900 Blue Ridge Rd.</p>

<p>This month’s Family Fun Fest theme is Bookworms and Butterflies, with presenting sponsor Burrell Behavioral Health. Activities at the event will focus on reading and nature, such as pollinators, birds and more.</p>

<p>The monthly Family Fun Fests are free and offer entertainment for the entire family including music, special performances, art activities, inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, food trucks, firetruck and police vehicle.</p>

<p>Family Fun Fests are sponsored by Convention and Visitors Bureau, KPLA 101.5 radio, KOMU TV 8, ParentLink, Tigers Community Credit Union and Machens Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat.<br /><br /></p>
