<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;">Columbia Water & Light and HDR, a consultant for the City, will be hosting a public presentation to discuss Phase 1 of the McBaine Water Treatment Plant Improvement Project. The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 2 in Conference Rooms 1A and 1B at City Hall.</p>
<p>The event will consist of a video overview of the project followed by a live question-and-answer session. The presentation will cover the purpose of the project, the current status of the work, plan details and opportunities for engagement.<br /><br />The project is expected to restore the plant's capacity to treat 32 million gallons of water per day and includes rehabilitation and replacement projects that will enhance the performance and extend the life of the facility.</p>
<p>The presentation video will be posted at <a href="https://www.como.gov/utilities/water/tab6">CoMo.gov</a> for interested parties to view at their convenience.</p>
