<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>Location:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> US Highway 63 North, northbound near the Vandiver Drive ramp</span></p>
<p><strong>Vehicle 1:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 1998 Toyota Camry</span></p>
<p><strong>Driver 1: </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Shannon M. Marrero, 37, Columbia, MO, fatal injuries, no seatbelt. Next of kin has been notified. </span></p>
<p><strong>Vehicle 2:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 2018 Kenworth T370 </span></p>
<p><strong>Driver 2:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> John N. Lammers, 35, Jefferson City, MO, seatbelt, no injuries. </span></p>
<p><strong>Incident Details:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The crash occurred as Vehicle 1 drove north on US Highway 63, just north of Vandiver Drive. Vehicle 2 also was traveling north on Highway 63, just north of Vandiver Drive. Vehicle 1 had been on the shoulder assisting another motorist. Vehicle 2 observed the vehicles on the shoulder and moved from the driving lane to the passing lane before impact. For unknown reasons, Vehicle 1 made a U-turn into the path of Vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 was unable to stop and struck the driver's side of Vehicle 1. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Driver 1 was pronounced dead at the scene. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The investigation of the crash is ongoing. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
