<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Stage schedule announced for 43rd Annual Heritage Festival and Craft Show</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The stage schedule has been set for the 43rd Annual Heritage Festival and Craft Show, which will be held Sept. 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Nifong Park, 3700 Ponderosa St.</p>
<p>Organized by Columbia Parks and Recreation, this free festival features traditional and roots entertainment on three stages, reenactors, a handmade craft show, and artisans dressed in 19th century attire demonstrating their "lost" trades. </p>
<p>The Heritage Festival will also feature a cowboy camp and mountain man camp. Visitors will be able to take hayrides around the park and try out crafts and games in the Burrell Health "Fun For Young’uns" area.</p>
<p>Attendees will enjoy live entertainment from a variety of genres including Native American, blues, Cajun, folk, bluegrass, traditional storytellers, puppet shows, and magicians. Saturday ghost stories will take place from 8 to 9:30 p.m. at the Maplewood Barn.</p>
<p>The Boone County History & Culture Center will be welcoming Heritage Festival visitors in several venues in Nifong Park, including 3 historic structures in The Village at Boone Junction and the historic Maplewood House, built in 1877. The Museum will also be open and is admission-free and air conditioned. Families are welcome to tour the 12,000 square foot museum and art gallery. Hundreds of items are on display in addition to featured exhibits for Columbia’s Bicentennial.</p>
<p>Parking and handicapped-accessible parking will be available on site and south of Nifong Park at Discovery Office Park and the Columbia Sports Fieldhouse, 4251 Philips Farm Road. Visitors can walk to the park or take a free Parks and Recreation shuttle. Shuttles will drop off at the Boone County Historical Society and run both days from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.</p>
<p>The Heritage Festival is coordinated by Columbia Parks and Recreation and sponsored by Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Boone County History & Culture Center, KPLA 101.5, KFRU 1400, the Missouri Arts Council, the Columbia Missourian, Machens Toyota and Burrell Behavioral Health.</p>
