<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Public Works department has scheduled an interested parties meeting regarding the Walnut Street resurfacing project. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 6 - 7 p.m. in conference room 1A in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. <br /><br />The project will include reconstruction of pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches in various locations along Walnut Street between College Avenue and Old Highway 63. It will also include asphalt overlay. Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2022. <br /><br />During the meeting, residents will be able to view diagrams of preliminary designs and speak with City engineering staff. A public comment form will also be available to be filled out. <br /><br />Preliminary designs can also be viewed at <a href="https://www.como.gov/public-works/engineering/capital-improvement-projects/">CoMo.gov
