<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On 09/27/21, at 1654 hours, CFD units responded to 1114 University Ave for a smoke alarm. On arrival, crews discovered smoke coming from Room 21 which was located in the basement. <br /><br />The incident was upgraded to a box alarm which received a total of 12 CFD units and one University medic unit. The fire was quickly extinguished and contained to the room of origin. The cause is under investigation. <br /><br />There were no injuries reported.</div>
