<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Lane restrictions at Route 763 & Smiley Lane starting Oct. 4</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning Monday, Oct. 4 at 7 a.m., Meyer Electric Company Inc., contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will begin construction on the Route 763 & Smiley Lane audible pedestrian signals project.<br /><br />The project involves the installation of new audible pedestrian signals, and the replacement of two ADA ramps. During construction, lane restrictions will occur in various lanes of the intersection, and sidewalks will be closed on the southwest and northeast corners of the intersection. The work should be completed by late November.<br /><br />Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should follow the traffic control devices to the other side of the street.</div>
