<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - An interested parties meeting regarding the proposed expansion of the south parking lot at Columbia Regional Airport has been scheduled for Oct. 8, 2021. The meeting will be held in conference room 1C in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway from 3 - 4 p.m.<br /><br />The purpose of the project is to provide additional parking spaces for the new terminal building at the airport. It would add 93 standard parking spaces, six accessible parking spaces, lighting, storm sewers and more. The project aligns with the June 2019 Supplemental Terminal Area Master Plan. <br /><br />The total cost of the proposed project is estimated at $550,715.<br /><br />During the meeting, residents will have an opportunity to review preliminary plans and speak with City of Columbia staff. There will also be a public comment form available to fill out.</div>
