<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia’s Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC) will hold a public engagement meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.  The HCDC will hear public comments and suggestions on the needs and priorities for services related to homeless and at-risk for homeless populations in the City of Columbia.<br /><br />The City of Columbia was recently awarded $2,161,654 in funding through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) to be administered through the HOME Investment Partnership Program from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  Eligible HOME-ARP projects include non-congregate shelters, rental housing development, tenant-based rental assistance and supportive services.  Projects must primarily benefit families and individuals experiencing homelessness, at risk for homelessness and those fle
 eing or attempting to flee domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking or human trafficking situations.<br /><br />The City’s Housing Programs Division administers federal funds from HUD to provide for affordable housing, public improvements and services.</div>
