<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate shots fired with injury in the area of North Blvd. and  N. 8th Street, Nov. 6</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Saturday, Nov. 6 at approximately 12 a.m. Columbia Police were conducting a foot patrol in the area of North Blvd. and N. 8th Street when they heard the sound of several gunshots. Officers observed several people fleeing the area on foot as well as a vehicle driving away at a high rate of speed.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the investigation at the scene, officers located evidence, including damage to several vehicles, that confirmed shots were fired.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">While still at the scene, officers were made aware of a walk-in patient at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Officers made contact and learned the patient, an adult female, was connected to the incident. She was being treated by hospital staff for her injuries. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There is no suspect description to provide at this time.   </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
