<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Partial road closure of South Rolling Hills Road scheduled for Nov. 22-23</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning Monday, Nov. 22 at 7 a.m., Emery Sapp and Sons, a contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will be removing a portion of South Rolling Hills Road in order to construct several new intersections with the Discovery Parkway extension project. Affected portions of South Rolling Hills Road will be closed Nov. 22-23; please see the road closure map attached to this press release for the location of the closure. <br /><br />Access to the affected section of South Rolling Hills Road will be restored on Nov. 24, weather permitting, until construction of the intersection has been permanently completed.<br /><br />The Discovery Parkway extension connects the Gans Road overpass to Rolling Hills Road. The new segment will provide a continuous major collector between Interstate 70 at Lake of the Woods Road and U.S. Highway 63. The investment for this pr
 oject is estimated at $6,822,000, which is paid for by the one-fourth cent Capital Improvement Program (CIP) sales tax as well as the Governor's Transportation Cost Share federal aid grant. More information on this project may be found at <a href="https://www.como.gov/webapps/cipweb/display_project.php?project_id=1155">CoMo.gov/webapps/cipweb/display_project.php?project_id=1155</a>.</div>
