<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;"><em>Correction: The Interested Parties meeting will be in Conference Rooms 1A/1B at City Hall.</em><br />The City of Columbia Solid Waste Utility is requesting public feedback regarding a proposed recycling drop-off center at the intersection of Oakland Gravel Road and Vandiver Drive. As part of the City's public involvement process for capital projects, City of Columbia Utilities is holding an Interested Parties meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The proposed recycling drop-off center will include up to 10 receptacles for fiber and plastics/tin/steel in an enclosed area similar to the drop-off sites on State Farm Parkway and on the South Providence outer road just north of Nifong Boulevard. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Investment for this project is estimated at $325,000, funded through Solid Waste Enterprise Revenues. The scope of work for this project includes excavation, site grading, installation of concrete pavement, installation of a perimeter fence, signage, the installation of the recycling receptacles and the installation of stormwater controls.</span></p>
