<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Second Interested Parties meeting scheduled to discuss Oakland Gravel Road recycling drop-off center</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display: inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Solid Waste Utility is adding an additional Interested Parties meeting to discuss a proposed recycling drop-off center at the intersection of Oakland Gravel Road and Vandiver Drive. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The first meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23 in Conference Rooms 1A/1B at City Hall. The second meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At both meetings, residents may view preliminary plans, and City staff will be on hand to answer questions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyone who cannot attend either meeting can fill out a comment form and email it to Waste-Mgmt@CoMo.gov.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The proposed recycling drop-off center will include up to 10 receptacles for fiber and containers in an enclosed area similar to the drop-off sites on State Farm Parkway and on the South Providence outer road just north of Nifong Boulevard. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Investment for this project is estimated at $325,000, funded through Solid Waste Enterprise Revenues. The scope of work for this project includes excavation, site grading, installation of concrete pavement, installation of a perimeter fence, signage, the installation of the recycling receptacles and the installation of stormwater controls.</span></p>
