<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate shots fired with injury in the area of 2600 Old Hwy 63, Nov.25</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Thursday, Nov. 25 at approximately 2:05 a.m., Columbia Police were dispatched to the area of the 2600 block of Old Hwy 63 in reference to a report of shots fired.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Officers arrived and located a juvenile male with a life-threatening injury from a gunshot. He was transported to a local hospital by EMS. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Two juvenile males have been detained for 2nd degree assault and armed criminal action. They were both released to the custody of Boone County juvenile authorities. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The investigation revealed that this was not a random act of violence.  The detained juveniles and the victim were known to each other. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
