<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia’s Commission on Human Rights will host a public listening session Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Armory, 701 E. Ash St. <br /><br />The event is being held in honor of International Human Rights Day. <br /><br />Members of the public are encouraged to drop in anytime during the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. window to share their experiences and concerns with matters of human rights and equality. Commission members will take public feedback to their colleagues and use it to shape its 2022 agenda and better understand which human rights issues need to be addressed with the City. <br /><br />People are entitled to a range of human rights, without discrimination, including rights involving health, work, education, and general life and liberty. <br /> <br />While the focus of the meeting will be listening to community voices, members of the
  commission will also share information about resources available to the public. <br /><br />Coffee and cookies will be provided. </div>
