<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate a robbery in the 3100 block of S. Providence Rd., Dec. 11</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Police responded to a reported robbery Saturday, Dec. 11, at approximately 11:15 p.m. at Arena Liquor, 3101-B S. Providence Rd.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon arrival, store employees informed officers that a male had entered the business demanding money while brandishing a handgun.  The employees complied, handing the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There was no report of injuries during this incident. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The suspect was described as a male, approximately 30 years old, 5’11, wearing glasses, a white hoodie sweatshirt and dark gloves. He fled the scene in an unknown manner.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation being handled by the department’s Criminal Investigations Division. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
