<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><strong>Date/Time:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Monday, Jan. 3 at approximately 10:25 p.m.</span></p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 2400 block of Rock Quarry Road.</span></p>
<br />
<p><strong>Vehicle 1:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 2014 Volkswagen Jetta</span></p>
<p><strong>Driver 1:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Caleb R. Wheeler, 24, Columbia, MO, no seatbelt, fatal injuries. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>

<p><strong>Incident Details:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Wheeler was traveling south in the 2400 block of Rock Quarry Road when his vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway. His vehicle began sliding sideways and struck a tree. After striking the tree, his vehicle overturned and came to a rest on its top, back on the roadway. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wheeler was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The cause of the crash is still being investigated. More information may become available at a later time.</span></p>
