<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">City of Columbia Water & Light has scheduled an interested parties meeting to discuss a proposed booster pump station in southeast Columbia. The meeting will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Feb. 22, in Conference Room 1B at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As part of the 2018 Water Bond Projects, Water & Light is proposing the construction of a booster pump station in southeast Columbia. The pump station will provide higher and more consistent water pressure for customers. The project will also enhance fire protection in the area. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The budget for this project is about $3.2 million, which will be funded through the revenue bonds.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the meeting, citizens can review preliminary plans, ask questions, make comments and complete a public comment form.</span></p></div>
