<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia residents now have an additional way to ensure they have a voice in shaping Columbia's future. The City has launched BeHeardCoMo, a new online platform where community members can share ideas, provide feedback on projects and help implement positive change.<br /><br />On BeHeardCoMo, Columbia residents have the ability to learn about and track the City's biggest projects, voice their opinions on important initiatives and have direct conversation with City officials. <br /><br />"Reaching out to community members and creating a dialogue that is meaningful and inclusive is key to our future success," City Manager De'Carlon Seewood said. "BeHeardCoMo provides us another way in which residents and City staff can share ideas, understand varying viewpoints and make decisions that move our community forward." <br /><br />Registration is open and community members can create an account a
 t <a href="https://beheard.como.gov/">BeHeard.CoMo.gov</a>. <br /><br />Currently, there are three projects posted on the BeHeardCoMo website: the McBain Water Treatment Plant Upgrades, New City Manager Q&A and BeHeard Implementation. More projects will be added to the website in the near future. <br /><br />City of Columbia Water & Light is moving forward with the McBaine Water Treatment Plant Improvement Project, which will restore the plant's capacity to treat 32 million gallons of water per day and include rehabilitation and replacement projects that will enhance the performance and extend the life of this critical facility. <br /><br />Community members on BeHeardCoMo will be able to learn more about the McBain Water Treatment Plant, ask questions about the improvements being made and track the project's progress from beginning to end. <br /><br />In the New City Manager Q&A project, community members can have an open and direct line of co
 mmunication with Columbia City Manager De'Carlon Seewood.<br /><br />BeHeardCoMo Implementation gives residents the chance to share ideas, ask questions and take a survey, which will help the City choose which projects it will feature on the website going forward.<br /><br />The goal of BeheardCoMo is not just to give everyone a chance to voice their opinion, but to ensure that those opinions are heard and considered. If you are interested in helping shape Columbia's future, create a BeHeardCoMo account today!</div>
