<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Stormwater Utility has scheduled an interested parties meeting to discuss the proposed Nebraska Avenue Stormwater Management Project. The meeting will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 23 in the City Council Chambers in City Hall at 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />In this project, the Stormwater Utility will replace undersized storm drain infrastructure and add inlets and piping to reduce street flooding and to prevent infrastructure failure of the storm drainage conveyance box that crosses under the street near 301 Nebraska Ave. The work might require closing Nebraska Avenue where the infrastructure crosses under the street. <br /><br />The project has a budget of $1.1 million and is funded by the Stormwater Utility.<br /><br />If you cannot attend the meeting but would like to discuss the project, please contact Tom Wellman at 573.874.7587 or Tom.Wellman@CoMo.gov.</div>
