<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On Monday, March 28, Sam Gaines Construction, Inc., a contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will begin work on the Fourth Street and Broadway pedestrian crossing project.<br /><br />The work will involve the construction of a crosswalk with pedestrian islands and a rapid flashing beacon across East Broadway at Fourth Street. During construction, there will be driving lane closures, parking closures and sidewalk closures on East Broadway between Providence Road and Fifth Street.<br /><br />The work is expected to be completed by mid-May, weather permitting.</div>
