<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services  announces updates to the COVID-19 Information Hub</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) is making additional changes to how COVID-19 data is presented on the Information Hub. The change comes as Missouri moved to recognize COVID-19 as an endemic disease and shifted focus from individual case reporting to surveillance. <br /><br />PHHS’ Information Hub will no longer display the total number of Missouri COVID-19 cases, deaths and Cases by School District as these data are no longer available. <br /><br />Changes to Boone County reporting data include removing Citizen Tests and Positivity Rate charts. Providers are no longer required to report negative tests which are used to calculate the local positivity rate. Cases by Catchment Counties will now link to the Missouri COVID-19 dashboard. <br /><br />The changes will be reflected on the Information Hub beginning the afternoon of Monday, May 2, 2022. The Information Hub 
 can be found by visiting <a href="https://gocolumbiamo.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=478880b83d5e4d35b646d80fe6f2c2f6">Boone County, MO COVID-19 Information Hub</a>.<br /><br />Additionally, 43,171 previous COVID-19 cases were recorded. After reconciling data across multiple data systems, PHHS has now recorded 44,618 total cases since the beginning of the pandemic. <br /><br />PHHS will continue to update the hub Monday through Friday. Updates will include the total number of cases as well as the number of new cases reported for two days prior.</div>
