<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - CAM, LLC, contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, is scheduled to perform Reclamite pavement maintenance on sections of 26 City streets beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 6, weather permitting.<br /><br />Reclamite is an asphalt pavement rejuvenating agent that can provide an extra five to seven years of pavement life. It can rejuvenate the protective qualities of asphalt lost through oxidation caused by precipitation, sunlight and other factors. Reclamite prevents water, which is the biggest threat to roadways, from penetrating into the asphalt.<br /><br />The contractor plans to work daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. No parking signs have already been posted on streets planned for treatment. Please refrain from parking your vehicles on signed streets whenever possible, and especially during working hours.<br /><br />Temporary lane closures will be required until the product is abs
 orbed into the asphalt. Traffic control signs and flaggers will be present to assist motorists through work zones as needed. Motorists and pedestrians should use caution in the work zone and find alternate routes if possible. <br /><br />Maintenance is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 10, weather permitting. A full list of the streets that will be treated is available online under the Reclamite section of <a href="https://www.como.gov/public-works/street-division/pavement/2022-pavement-management-progress/">CoMo.gov/public-works/street-division/pavement/2022-pavement-management-progress/</a>.</div>
