<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police investigate fatal crash that occurred near Missouri Route B (Paris Road) at Vandiver Drive, July 1</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <strong>Date and Time:</strong> Friday, July 1, at approximately 9:45 a.m.<br /><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Missouri Route B (Paris Road) at Vandiver Drive<br /><br /><strong>Vehicle 1:</strong> 2004 Dodge Dakota<br /><strong>Driver 1:</strong> Kevin W. Wineteer, 67, of Fulton. Wineteer sustained no injuries and was wearing a seatbelt.<br /><br /><strong>Vehicle 2:</strong> 2016 Harley Davidson XL 1200 Roadster<br /><strong>Driver 2:</strong> Mark A. Lamont, 49, of Columbia. Lamont sustained fatal injuries and was not wearing a helmet.<br /><br /><strong>Incident Details:</strong> Wineteer was traveling north on Missouri Route B (Paris Road) and was stopped in the left turn lane at Vandiver Drive. Lamont was traveling south on Missouri Route B (Paris Road) approaching Vandiver Drive. <br /><br />Wineteer turned left into the path of Lamont, who was unable to avoid colliding with the passenger 
 side of Wineteer’s vehicle. The impact caused Lamont to be ejected from his motorcycle. <br /><br />Lamont was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. Next of kin has been notified.<br /><br />This is an ongoing investigation. More information may become available at a later time.<br /><br />If you know something, say something. Columbia Police are asking for your help. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.<br /><br />To report a tip without including your name or contact information, call CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477). A tip that leads to an arrest or helps solve a felony crime could result in a cash reward.<br /><br />
