<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will host a third COVID-19 vaccination comfort clinic Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at PHHS, 1005 W. Worley St.<br /><br />The comfort clinic is available by appointment to children and adults who are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine but are anxious about needles or the process of receiving a vaccination. Appointments are required to attend this clinic. To sign up, please visit <a href="https://www.como.gov/health/covid19-vaccine-appointments/?appointments=ftyhkuio39dddT43Gg7outreach">https://www.como.gov/health/covid19-vaccine-appointments/?appointments=ftyhkuio39dddT43Gg7outreach</a>.<br /><br />The comfort clinic is sensory-friendly and will have extra comfort measures available to patients including anxiety-reducing activities, private rooms for vaccination, distraction tools and volunteers trained in evidence
 -based child life therapeutic interventions.<br /><br />The clinic is open to all ages and all COVID-19 vaccines will be available (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson). Individuals can receive any dose, including primary and booster doses at the clinic.<br /><br />Vaccines are free and do not require ID or health insurance. Anyone aged 6 months and older is eligible for Pfizer. Anyone aged 18 years and older is eligible for Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson. While there are Moderna vaccines available for individuals ages 6 months to 17 years, PHHS is only administering Pfizer vaccines to this age group.<br /><br />Parental consent forms are required for anyone under the age of 18.<br /><br />Vaccination opportunities are also available with other local vaccinators. The list of vaccinators and their information can be found by visiting <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov/CovidVaccine">CoMo.gov/CovidVaccine</a>.</div>
