<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The public is invited to take part in a behind-the-scenes tour of the new terminal at Columbia Regional Airport (COU), 11300 S. Airport Drive, Tuesday, July 26.<br /><br />Those in attendance will be among the first to see the new passenger boarding bridges.<br /><br />Guided tours will begin at 3:30 p.m. by the south side of the existing airport terminal.  <br /><br />"The addition of passenger boarding bridges is one of many reasons why the new terminal at COU will improve the airport experience for everyone flying in and out of Columbia," said Airport Manager Mike Parks. "We are excited to have members of the public in attendance as we celebrate another major milestone on this project." <br /><br />In addition to the passenger boarding bridges, the new terminal will be larger and feature new amenities, such as a restaurant, a mother's room, a sensory room and an interior Service A
 nimal Relief Area (SARA). The new terminal is scheduled to open in 2022.<br /><br /><em>Parking is available in the airport commercial parking lots and guests should look for signs directing them toward the event.</em><br /><br /><em>This event will include a walk-through of areas that are under construction and some parts may be difficult to navigate. All members of the public are welcome and staff will be available to assist people with mobility impairments to provide access during this tour. If you have questions, concerns or requests for accommodations related to disability, then please call 573.817.5064 or email airport@CoMo.gov. In order to assist staff in making the appropriate arrangements for your accommodation, please make your request as far in advance of the event date as possible.</em></div>
