<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On Wednesday, Aug. 31, at approximately 11:48 a.m. Columbia Police were dispatched to an area near the intersection of Old Highway 63 North and Gordon Street for a report of a shooting.<br /><br />On scene, officers located an adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds who was transported by EMS to a local hospital.<br /><br />As a result of the investigation, a warrant has been issued for Jeffrey Tubbs, 50, of Columbia, for first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.<br /><br />This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by the Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. More information may become available at a later time.<br /><br />If you know something, say something. Columbia Police are asking for your help. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to please contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.<br /><br />To repor
