<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia Police Chief Geoff Jones will hold a community briefing Thursday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />Chief Jones will update the community on a recent arrest made in connection to a rape and attempted murder that occurred in 1984. Members of the media and public are invited to attend.<br /><br />The briefing will be live-streamed at: http://gocolumbiamo.granicus.com/MediaPlayer.php?publish_id=bcef3a1c-5c19-476b-9db8-5ce68f5738d7 and live broadcast on Spectrum 992, Mediacom 80 and CenturyLink 96.</div>
