<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia Police have arrested Cadilac Derrick, 35, of Columbia, for two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action. The arrest is in connection to an incident that occurred Nov. 5 at approximately 11 p.m., when Columbia Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1600 block of Boyd Lane. <br /><br />Officers arrived at the scene and located two adult females with apparent gunshot wounds. One of the females, Lea’johna Sanders, 22, of Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim, Laura Myers, 53, of Columbia, was transported by EMS to a local hospital and later succumbed to her injuries. Next of kin for both victims have been notified.<br /><br />During the course of the investigation detectives developed probable cause to arrest Derrick. He was arrested in Moberly and was later transported to the Boone County Jail.<br /><br />This investigatio
