<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - In partnership with the Boone County Overdose Response Coalition, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will be hosting a <em>Save a Life!</em>: Naloxone education and distribution event Thursday, Jan. 5, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at St. Luke's United Methodist Church at 204 E. Ash St., Columbia, MO. <br /><br /><em>Save a Life!</em> is a part of a series of free to the public events that will feature education and conversation around how the public can help to prevent opioid overdose deaths through the use of Naloxone, also known as NARCAN®. <br /><br />There will be a demonstration of how to use NARCAN®, a drug that can reverse opioid overdoses, as well as distribution of this rescue medication. Light snacks will be available.<br /><br />Member agencies of Boone County Overdose Response Coalition will be hosting community resource tables.</div>
