<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is hosting an interested parties meeting to gain input on the expansion of the Columbia Sports Fieldhouse. The drop-in meeting will be held Feb. 7 from 5-7 p.m. at the Fieldhouse, 4251 Philips Farm Road.</p>

<p>The expansion of the facility includes four additional hardwood courts, restrooms, office space, meeting room and common areas.</p>

<p>The Columbia Sports Fieldhouse opened in 2019 to fill a need in the community for a multi-use indoor sports facility to host regional and national basketball, volleyball and pickleball tournaments. The Fieldhouse also hosts local youth and adult leagues.</p>

<p>Park staff will be available at the Feb. 7 drop-in meeting to provide information and receive comments. Input is also being taken at <a href="https://beheard.como.gov/columbia-sports-fieldhouse">BeHeard.CoMo.gov</a> for those who are unable to attend the meeting.</p>

<p>Funding for the Fieldhouse expansion will come from the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau Tourism Development Fund, general fund reserves, private donations and the voter-approved Park Sales Tax.</p>
