<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - In partnership with the Boone County Overdose Response Coalition, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will host an online Save a Life: Naloxone Education Event. This event is free to the public and will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. <br /><br />For those interested in attending this event, please fill out the <a href="https://bit.ly/3HGDcA7">online registration form</a> (https://bit.ly/3HGDcA7) by Feb. 13.<br /><br />Save a Life is a part of a series of free-to-the-public events that feature education and conversation around how members in the community can help to prevent opioid overdose deaths through the use of Naloxone, also known as NARCAN®. The training will include recognizing signs of an opioid overdose, as well as explanation of how to use and access Naloxone (a drug that can reverse the effects of opioid overdose). <br />
<br />PHHS will make available to participants one box of NARCAN® at no cost. More details on receiving NARCAN® will be provided during the event.</div>
