<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - In partnership with the Boone County Overdose Response Coalition, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) will be hosting a Save a Life: Naloxone education and distribution event Wednesday, March 8 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia at 1201 International Dr. <br /><br />Save a Life is a part of a series of free-to-the-public events that feature education and conversation around how members in the community can help to prevent opioid overdose deaths through the use of Naloxone, also known as NARCAN®. The training will include recognizing signs of an opioid overdose, as well as explanation of how to use and access Naloxone (a drug that can reverse the effects of opioid overdose). <br /><br />Participants will receive a free box of NARCAN®. Chili and other refreshments will be available. <br /><br />No registration is required.&nbsp
