<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Focus group participants wanted for Community Health Assessment</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS), in partnership with Live Well Boone County, is seeking focus group participants as part of the Community Health Assessment process. The focus groups will be used to gather feedback about health priorities in Boone County.<br /><br />There will be 11 total focus groups with eight being planned with specific community organizations and three open to the public. The three open to the public will be held in Centralia, Columbia and Ashland.<br />
<ul>
<li>Northern Boone County (Centralia) - Monday, March 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Centralia City Hall - community room, 114 S. Rollins in Centralia</li>
<li>Columbia - Thursday, April 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at PHHS, 1005 W. Worley St. in Columbia</li>
<li>Southern Boone County (Ashland) - Tuesday, April 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Southern Boone County YMCA - small exercise room, 405 S. Main Street in Ashland</li>
</ul>
<br />Registration is required and each focus group is limited to 12 participants. All focus group participants will receive a $25 gift card. A meal and child care will be provided (if needed). Child care  <br /><br />Register online (<a href="https://forms.gle/ADPCAkuh1xZDbC3N7">https://forms.gle/ADPCAkuh1xZDbC3N7</a>), call 573.817.6403 or email Sara.Humm@CoMo.gov.<br /><br />The focus groups seek to better understand community health and health factors. Results from the focus groups will inform local funding decisions and public health programming. Since 2018, results from the previous community health assessment have helped inform nearly $42 million in health and social service programs, which served over 415,000 total people in Boone County. <br /><br />In addition to the focus groups, all Boone County residents are encouraged to complete a survey, which can be done online (<a href="https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LWBC2023">surveymonkey.com/r/LWBC2023</a>) 
 or via paper survey at these locations:<br />
