<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">East Walnut Street to close April 10-24 between North William Street and Old Highway 63 North</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, April 10, East Walnut Street will be closed between North William Street and Old Highway 63 North. Christiansen Construction Co., contractors for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will be performing pavement repairs to the roadway during the following two weeks.<br /><br />During construction, motorists intending to turn from North William Street or Old Highway 63 North onto East Walnut Street will be detoured to East Broadway. Road closure signs will be present to help motorists, people walking and people biking avoid the closure area.<br /><br />This road closure is part of the continuing East Walnut Street resurfacing project which will take place through July. Intermittent lane restrictions and closures will continue to be required along East Walnut Street between College Avenue and Old Highway 63 North throughout the remainder of the project.<br /><
 br />This portion of East Walnut Street will reopen by Monday, April 24, at 7 a.m., weather permitting.</div>
