<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Intersection and lane closure at East Walnut Street and North College Avenue April 26-28</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning Wednesday, April 26 at 7 a.m., Christensen Construction Co., contractor for City of Columbia Public Works, will be performing full-depth pavement repairs at the intersection of East Walnut Street and North College Avenue. <span style="font-weight: 400;">This work being performed is more significant than simple surface-level street repairs and will help to restore the structural integrity of the intersection, extending its service life.</span> <br /><br />During construction, motorists will be unable to access East Walnut Street from North College Avenue. Additionally, the easternmost northbound lane of North College Avenue will be closed April 26 through 28 between East Broadway and East Ash Street.<br /><br />The work is scheduled to be completed and the intersection reopened by Friday, April 28 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.<br /><br />The pavement repairs are part of the ongoing E
ast Walnut Street resurfacing project, which began March 20 and will continue through July. Work on other areas of East Walnut Street will still be ongoing. Motorists are advised to avoid travel on East Walnut Street when possible and to use alternate routes such as East Broadway.</div>
