<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police arrest suspect in connection to shots fired with injuries in the area of Nifong and Sinclair, Oct. 14, 2022</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Columbia Police have arrested Semaj Rashod Clark, 22, of Columbia in connection to a report of shots fired in the area of Sinclair Road and West Nifong Boulevard that left one person injured in October. Mr. Clark was arrested for first-degree assault and armed criminal action.<br /><br />Mr. Clark is the second arrest made in this incident. Officers arrested Derrick Deshun Blackmon, 22, of Columbia, on Feb. 21. Mr. Blackmon was arrested for first-degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and leaving the scene of an accident.<br /><br />At approximately 9 p.m. on Oct. 14, 2022, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Sinclair Road and West Nifong Boulevard. Officers who were in the area for unrelated reasons reported hearing approximately four shots.<br /><br />At the scene, officers saw a collision involving two vehicles. Officers also located an adult mal
 e with apparent non-life threatening gunshot wounds.<br /><br />Columbia Police Officers and Boone County Sheriff's Deputies provided medical attention to the victim until EMS arrived to transport him to a local hospital. We appreciate everyone who rendered care and assistance at the scene.<br /><br />This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.<br /><br />
