<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">City of Columbia Water & Light is holding a public information meeting to discuss a proposed water main replacement project on Lake of the Woods Road. The meeting is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 18 in Conference Room 1C at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Lake of the Woods water main replacement project proposes the replacement and upgrade of approximately 7,000 feet of pipe with a new 12-inch diameter water main. The existing mains through the project corridor will be retired and customers' water services will be connected to the new water main. This project will help to ensure continuity of service to our customers and provide a more reliable source of water in the event of a fire.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During the meeting, residents will have the opportunity to review preliminary plans, ask questions, make comments and complete a public comment form.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Public comments will also be accepted online at </span><a style="white-space:nowrap" href="http://beheard.como.gov/lake-of-the-woods-water-main-replacement"><span style="font-weight: 400;">BeHeard.CoMo.gov</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> through June 1.</span></p>
