<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Beginning Tuesday, June 27 at 7 a.m., Concrete Solution LLC, contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, will begin work on the Oakland Gravel Road sidewalk project. Once the work begins, sidewalk closures and intermittent lane restrictions will be required.<br /><br />This project includes construction of sidewalk to fill in gaps along the west side of Oakland Gravel Road between Vandiver Drive and Grizzly Court. It also includes improvements to the pedestrian crosswalk across Oakland Gravel Road at the Vandiver Drive intersection, including the installation of an accessible pedestrian signal.<br /><br />The construction cost for the project is $318,000, paid for by the capital improvement sales tax. More information about the project can be found at <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://beheard.como.gov/Oakland-Gravel-Road-sidewalk-improvement">BeHeard.CoMo.gov/Oakland-Grav
