<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <em>Correction: The previous press release stated that speed humps would be installed July 7-8. To stay ahead of expected rain, City of Columbia Public Works crews will instead install the speed humps Thursday, July 6.</em><br /><br />On July 6, City of Columbia Public Works crews will be installing speed humps on South Garth Avenue. The speed humps are part of an effort to reduce speeds in the area, which in the results of a traffic study were found to be unsafe.<br /><br />Signs and flaggers will be present to assist drivers traveling through the work zone. No street closures will be necessary, but drivers should be prepared to expect delays and find alternative routes if possible.<br /><br />The installation of the speed humps is now scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. Thursday, July 6, weather permitting.<br /><br />Original press release: <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.go
