<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Public Works department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning the Garth Avenue major maintenance project. This meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 8 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Parkade Baptist Church, 2102 N. Garth Ave. To access the meeting room, please park on the south side of the building and enter through the glass double doors.<br /><br />The purpose of this meeting is to present design concepts for the Garth Avenue major maintenance project. This project will include reconstruction of the pavement, curbs and existing sidewalk sections in various locations along Garth Avenue. The project may also include construction of a sidewalk on the east side of Garth Avenue, filling in sidewalk gaps between Texas Avenue and Leslie Lane and between Craig Street and Thurman Street. Finally, the project will include an asphalt overlay along Garth A
