<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Pavement maintenance continues on various City streets starting Sept. 25</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - Lionmark Construction Companies, contractor for the City of Columbia Public Works department, is scheduled to perform pavement maintenance to 21 City streets beginning Monday, Sept. 25 at 7 a.m. The contractor will be applying Onyx, a fast-drying asphalt sealing solution which is designed to extend the life of streets. The product is a mixture of liquid asphalt, fine aggregates, recycled products and bonding agents.<br /><br />A list of the 21 streets that will receive Onyx surface treatment follows below:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Bucks Run from Bluff Boulevard to the north end of the street</li>
<li>Valleyview Road from Old Highway 63 South to the west end of the street</li>
<li>North Valleyview Drive from Valleyview Road to the north end of the street</li>
<li>Rollingwood Drive from Oak Lawn Drive to Lynnwood Drive</li>
<li>Chadwick Drive from Forum Boulevard to 100 feet past Laramie Court</li>
<li>Crawford Street from Green Meadows Road to the north end of the street</li>
<li>Lucerne Court from Green Meadows Road to the end of the street</li>
<li>Glencairn Drive from Royal Lytham Drive to Prestwick Drive</li>
<li>Royal Latham Drive from West Southampton Drive to Highlands Parkway</li>
<li>Whitburn Drive from Glencairn Drive to the boundary between the asphalt and concrete surfaces</li>
<li>Walther Court from Concordia Drive to Hulen Drive</li>
<li>Bourn Avenue from West Rollins Road to West Broadway</li>
<li>Wood Hill Road from Ridgemont to Yuma Drive</li>
<li>Rose Court from Rose Drive to the end of the street</li>
<li>Garden Drive from Morning Glory Drive to the edge of the concrete</li>
<li>Again Street from West Boulevard North to Anderson Avenue</li>
<li>South Greenwood Avenue from West Stewart Road to West Broadway</li>
<li>Russell Boulevard from West Rollins Road to West Broadway</li>
<li>Stanford Drive from Maplewood Drive to the end of the street</li>
<li>Princeton Drive from College Park Drive to Maplewood Drive</li>
<li>Maplewood Drive from Stanford Drive to West Rollins Road</li>
</ul>
Additionally, starting Sept. 25, City of Columbia Public Works street division crews will be adding an asphalt overlay to the following three City streets:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>East New Haven Road from South Big Timber Lane to South Rolling Hills Road</li>
<li>Rollins Street from Tiger Avenue to South Providence Road</li>
<li>South Fifth Street between Rollins Street and East Stewart Road</li>
</ul>
All pavement maintenance work will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. ‘No parking' signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance on streets planned for maintenance. Please refrain from parking your vehicles on signed streets during working hours.<br /><br />Temporary lane closures will be required. Traffic control signs and flaggers will be present to assist motorists through work zones as needed. Motorists and pedestrians should use caution in work zones and find alternate routes if possible.<br /><br />Maintenance on the above listed streets is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, weather permitting.
