<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Pavement maintenance scheduled for East Broadway and Green Meadows Road Oct. 24-30</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Capital Paving, contractors for the City of Columbia Public Works department, are scheduled to perform pavement maintenance on East Broadway between Providence Road and Garth Avenue. Single lane closures will be necessary as the top layer of East Broadway's asphalt surface is milled off and temporary striping is added.<br /><br />Milling work on East Broadway should be completed by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24. East Broadway is scheduled to be overlaid with a new asphalt surface Monday, Oct. 30, weather permitting.<br /><br />Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 8 a.m., Capital Paving are scheduled to perform mill and overlay pavement maintenance on Green Meadows Road between South Providence Road and Grindstone Parkway. Temporary street closures on Green Meadows Road will be required. Traffic control signs and flaggers will be present to divert traffic around work
  zones as needed. Motorists and pedestrians should use caution near work zones and find alternate routes if possible. <br /><br />Pavement maintenance on Green Meadows Road is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27.<br /><br />Please refrain from parking your vehicles on any street with "no parking" signs on the dates and times listed. Crews are scheduled to work from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily and any vehicle parked in work areas is liable to be ticketed or towed.<br /><br />The exact timing of the work schedule is subject to change due to impacts from weather or other unforeseen factors. If any changes occur, Public Works will provide updates to residents via social media.</div>
