<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">While City of Columbia Water & Light was working on planned maintenance on West Worley, a water main break simultaneously occurred near the University of Missouri campus that may result in loss of water pressure or water discoloration for our customers. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Water & Light crews are on site and are working to repair the break as quickly as possible. Any customers affected by a boil advisory will be notified.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Crews had been working to replace valves on West Worley, and water had been rerouted to accommodate the repairs. Around midday, the Utility was alerted to a break in a 16-inch water main near central Columbia. The two instances combined to cause widespread water service issues.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Water & Light apologizes for any inconvenience as the Utility works to remedy the situation.</span></p>
