<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia is exploring interest in the lease or purchase of the former IBM/Kyndryl building located at 2810 LeMone Industrial Blvd. This Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) invites submissions by parties that may be suitable for the facility. Tours of the building can be requested by emailing Bernie.Andrews@CoMo.gov or calling 573.441.5541.<br /><br /><strong>About the building</strong><br /><br />This office building, owned by the City of Columbia, is a 93,145-square-foot facility on a total of 9.5 total acres in an Industrial General Zone and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver-certified facility. <br /><br />The building has many amenities, including:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>721 parking spaces</li>
<li>802 cubicles</li>
<li>26 team rooms</li>
<li>3 large 16-seat conference rooms</li>
<li>6 medium size conference rooms</li>
<li>32-seat training room</li>
<li>2 interview rooms</li>
<li>Computer lab</li>
<li>IT room</li>
<li>2 network rooms</li>
<li>Kitchen</li>
<li>Cafeteria</li>
<li>Lactation room</li>
<li>4,000 sq. ft. storm shelter</li>
</ul>
<br /><strong>Proposals</strong><br /><br />Proposals are being accepted by the City at this time and can be submitted to Assistant Director of Economic Development Bernie Andrews. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. CST Nov. 27 via email to Bernie.Andrews@CoMo.gov. Mailed or hard copy proposals will not be accepted. <br /><br /><strong>Next steps</strong><br /><br />Finalists will be selected from qualified submissions and will be notified by email or phone in December. <br /><br /><strong>Proposal criteria</strong><br /><br />Interested parties should submit a letter of interest no longer than five (5) pages outlining the following:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Name of company and its officers/owners</li>
<li>Company address and/or location(s)</li>
<li>Appropriate company point of contact information</li>
<li>Brief history of the company</li>
<li>Proposed lease or purchase terms; and, estimated price to purchase or lease the building/property</li>
<li>Brief narrative about the intended use of the property, including but not limited to: proposed capital investment, job impacts, expansion/relocation, timeline to occupy, and any additional key terms or conditions for consideration</li>
</ul>
<strong><br />Evaluation criteria</strong><br /><br />The following factors will be a priority for the City of Columbia in evaluating the Expression of Interest proposals:<br /><br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Highest and best use of the building/property</li>
<li>Qualifications and experience of the company</li>
<li>Financial ability to acquire or lease the building/property</li>
<li>Timeline to occupy building/property</li>
<li>Economic impact(s) to the community</li>
</ul>
<br /><br />The finalist may be required to submit additional details and can expect to work with City staff on finalizing the agreement.<br /><br /><strong>Timeline</strong><br /><br />The following schedule outlines key dates and milestones. <br /><br />
