<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - City of Columbia offices will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veterans Day. This will be the first year the City will observe Veterans Day as a municipal holiday.<br /><br />Several City services will be impacted by the holiday.<br /><br />Residential curbside trash will be collected Friday on its regular schedule. The landfill will also be open Friday, Nov. 10.<br /><br />Residents can download the COMO Recycle and Trash app for collection day reminders and service notifications. Questions concerning the collection schedule should be directed to the Contact Center at 573.874.CITY (2489). <br /><br />Go COMO, Columbia's public transit system, will not operate Friday, Nov. 10. Transit service will resume Saturday, Nov. 11. <br /><br />Parking enforcement will be suspended Nov. 10 at downtown parking meters and inside downtown parking garages. <br /><br />Although administr
 ative offices for both the Police and Fire departments will be closed Nov. 10, all emergency services will be available.<br /><br />The City's Activity & Recreation Center (ARC) will operate at normal hours Nov. 10 and at reduced hours Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. <br /><br />Please visit <a style="white-space:nowrap" href="https://www.como.gov/Utilities/">CoMo.gov/Utilities</a> for phone numbers to contact staff regarding emergencies related to Water & Light, Sewer and Stormwater.</div>
