<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Public Works department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning the Fairview Road and Chapel Hill Road roundabout project. This meeting will be held Thursday, Dec. 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Media Center at Fairview Elementary School, 909 S. Fairview Road. To locate the Media Center, enter through the school's main doors and follow the signs posted inside.<br /><br />The purpose of this meeting is to share the design concept for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Fairview Road and Chapel Hill Road. This project will replace the existing intersection with a single lane roundabout. The design also includes construction of a sidewalk to fill in a sidewalk gap along the northeast side of Chapel Hill Road near the intersection. The primary goal of the design is to improve safety and traffic flow at the intersection. Construction is currently
