<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:150%;"><h1 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 130%;">Columbia Police arrest suspect in connection to homicide in the 1000 block of West Boulevard, Feb. 1</h1>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 1, Columbia Police responded to the 1000 block of West Boulevard for a report of shots fired.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Upon the arrival of officers, they discovered one adult male, identified as Corey Bilger, 33, with gunshot wounds. Bilger was transported by EMS to a local hospital, where he later died due to his injuries. Next of kin has been notified.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Witnesses on scene stated that the suspect, identified as Seth Brinegar, 18, was still present. Brinegar was taken into custody on charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652 or CrimeStoppers at 573.875.TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.</span></p>
